Art's Way Vessels Announces That The Popular Portable Exchange D.I. Tanks Are Available On 24 Hr. Shipping Program
ARMSTRONG, Iowa, May 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Art's Way Manufacturing Co., Inc. (NASDAQ: ARTW), a diversified, international manufacturer and distributor of equipment serving agricultural, research, water treatment and steel cutting needs announces that the FLX tank stocking program has been initiated by Art's Way Vessels to promote quick shipping (from their Dubuque, IA facility) on popular sizes of steel skid mounted D.I. exchange tanks. D.I. exchange tanks are used with various configurations of media to produce high purity water in general manufacturing, medical, automotive, or food and beverage applications. The portable or exchange capability allows the facility to be free of harmful chemicals used in the regenerating process once these medias are exhausted. Once exhausted, the tanks are taken by truck to a central facility that regenerates the media to a usable state once again.
Pat O'Neill, Sales Manager for Art's Way Vessels indicates, "Introducing this program will allow us to provide quick response to our customers. In return, they can meet the immediate need for D.I. exchange tanks commonly used within high purity water systems. It keeps the water flowing and your customer's production uninterrupted."
The FLX line of portable exchange tanks for deionization is stocked and ready to ship within 24 hours. Convenient sizes are available in order to accommodate various water quality and flow rate requirements. From 13 cu. ft. up to 53 cu. ft. capacity tanks are available to satisfy the needs based on water usage. Most sizes will fit within most PE exchange water treatment systems used for both commercial and industrial applications. All tanks are non-code and rated at 100 PSI maximum operating pressure.
Tanks in stock are furnished with side shell inlet/outlet and 2 in. pad flanges in top and bottom heads for ease of loading and resin evacuation. Skid mounted, the tanks have a safety blue epoxy finish on exterior and a durable Plasite 4110 interior lining extending tank life.
Optional features can be added to D.I. exchange tanks and will ship on standard lead times.
