Asha Nutrition Sciences Receives Notice of Allowance for US Patent Covering Tailored Lipids By Demographics

PALO ALTO, Calif., Jan. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Asha Nutrition Sciences, Inc. (Asha), creators of the revolutionary tailored lipids by demographics product line, LipiLife, announced the receipt of Notice of Allowance from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for Application No. 13/332,251 directed to methods of selecting and preparing lipid formulations based upon demographics of a subject.  The patent includes application of the proprietary methods for full diets, infant foods, pet foods, and/or therapeutic applications for medical indications.  Asha holds worldwide patents on the technology. Asha estimates that when issued the U.S. patent will not expire until at least 2033.
