Astound Commerce Acquires Site9 - Maker of ProtoShare Web and Mobile Prototyping Software

SAN FRANCISCO, April 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Astound Commerce, one of the world's largest cross-platform eCommerce providers, with more than 600 professionals globally, today announced it has completed its acquisition of Site9, Inc., the maker of ProtoShare, the popular web-based prototyping platform used by thousands of web, mobile app and mobile site developers.

Based in Portland, Oregon, Site9 was founded by President and CEO, Andrew Mottaz, who will join Astound Commerce as Senior Director of Interactive Design and User Experience. Mottaz will lead Astound Commerce's User Experience (UX) Consulting practice, which focuses on designing and implementing eCommerce-specific UX strategies, including wireframing and prototyping, user testing, UX audits, user interviews, personas and other user-focused techniques.
