Atlanta Small Business Network is Launched to Answer the Needs of Local Entrepreneurs
ATLANTA, Nov. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- As the city of Atlanta and surrounding metro communities continue to grow at a rapid rate, so will the competitive nature of its business professionals. According to the GA Dept. of Labor, there were 278,125 businesses in 2017; of those: 99.8% are categorized as a small business (fewer than 500 employees). In late 2017, Jim and Bridget Fitzpatrick, Founders of JBF Business Media LLC (JBF-businessmedia.com) recognized an underserved segment in the market that exclusively served the small business community in Atlanta. Utilizing their learnings and resources from their already successful ventures as business owners, they launched Atlanta Small Business Network (ASBN).
ASBN (MyASBN.com) was created to be a multi-media resource to the growing small business communities in and around Georgia's capital. The network provides information on business start-up, technology, franchise, marketing, customer experience, leadership, legal, finance, and much more. Broadcasting from ASBN's state-of-the-art studios in Norcross, Georgia, the online media platform will deliver in-depth interviews with local entrepreneurs, and thought-leaders, a daily edition of the Atlanta Small Business Show, expert hosted business shows, comprehensive business articles, event listings, and coverage, and the latest news that affects small business. ASBN's goal is to keep metro Atlanta entrepreneurs and small business owners informed, help them better serve the consumers of the city, and contribute to Atlanta's growing economy.
"As small business owners ourselves, we have gone through the same ups and downs that other entrepreneurs experience in their business. There really isn't a place that serves the small business community exclusively. Combining our entrepreneurial experiences with our media background only made sense when we decided to launch ASBN." Bridget Fitzpatrick.
In edition to ASBN's current offerings, in 2019 the network plans to expand which will include the launch of a magazine, business events, and a 30 minute TV program titled Atlanta Small Business Show to be aired on Atlanta's CBS46 and its sister station Peachtree TV.
"Atlanta is emerging as a significant business hub, and with it comes a number of moving parts that local entrepreneurs have to navigate. Business professionals can benefit and rely on Atlanta Small Business Network to deliver timely, relevant, and educational programming to help them succeed. From start-up to success, ASBN is your source for small business in Atlanta." Jim Fitzpatrick.
