Events in Penn Station with giveaways for riders

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., March 4 /PRNewswire/ -- The Atlantic City Express Service (ACES), offering the only direct train service between New York City and Atlantic City, invites riders to mark a year of train service with an anniversary celebration in New York City's Penn Station on Saturday, March 20. The celebration will feature music, giveaways and a cake from Charm City Cakes (featured company of the Food Network's ACE of Cakes) as a way to say thank you to ACES' riders.

Beginning at 2:00 p.m., fans of the ACES train can gather in New York Penn Station's NJ TRANSIT concourse for the celebration, which will include a welcome from ACES executives and the chance to win plenty of great prizes, including ACES merchandise, and gift certificates from the ACES partner properties in Atlantic City. To complete the Atlantic City getaway experience for riders, ACES is also offering the chance to win coupon books for The Walk outlets and tickets to the Atlantic City Beer Festival, which will be held that weekend. DJ Goumba Johnny of radio station KTU 103.5 will also be on hand for the event.

The celebration continues for ACES passengers aboard train 7173, which will depart Penn Station at 3:01 p.m. with additional prizes and giveaways, including the chance to be one of three Grand Prize Winners -- who will each win a complete Atlantic City VIP stay during their own birthday month!  Additionally, the train will feature special Pour Tour deals on brews featured at the Atlantic City Beer Festival.

The ACES train began service in February, 2009. With only one stop in Newark, the two-and-a-half hour ACES trip offers passengers upgraded leather seating, both first- and coach-class travel experiences as well as a lounge available for private booking.  First-class seating is found on the upper deck of the train and features seat-side food and beverage service.  Purchase of the lounge offers customers four seated tickets with the opportunity to invite friends along to socialize in a relaxed atmosphere complete with four plasma televisions, table-top space and group seating.
