WASHINGTON, Sept. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- AtSite, Inc., an innovative integrator of Building Performance Solutions, announced that prominent Washington business leader Rand Blazer has joined its board of directors. After recently closing a Series A financing round, AtSite is assembling a market leading board that will help guide its growth and shape its business. Mr. Blazer will be joining recently appointed prominent businessman Raul Fernandez.
"Rand's deep expertise in consulting, technology and executive leadership at the highest levels will be invaluable to AtSite and our clients as we grow, and we are delighted to welcome him to the board," said Davor Kapelina, President and CEO, AtSite.
Mr. Blazer is the President of Apex Systems, Inc., one of the fastest growing and most profitable IT staffing businesses in the U.S. He is the former Chairman and CEO of BearingPoint, formerly KPMG Consulting, one of the world's largest consulting and systems integration firms. Under his leadership from 1997 to 2004, BearingPoint achieved market-leading double-digit growth and launched the second-largest IPO of NASDAQ's history. Prior to BearingPoint, Blazer served as President and General Manager of SAP's Public Sector business unit.
"It's been my experience that very successful professional service firms are those who truly partner with their clients by delivering on broad strategic objectives through their area of expertise," said Mr. Blazer. "AtSite is doing exactly that, and so joining the board in the midst of this exciting time for the company is reminiscent of what I witnessed many times earlier in my career."
