Attorney Clyde Siebman Honored for Key Role in East Texas Federal Court
Siebman, Burg, Phillips & Smith founder recognized for decades of service
SHERMAN, Texas, March 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- East Texas trial attorney Clyde M. Siebman recently was recognized for his decades of work to improve the practice of law in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas in a surprise ceremony hosted by Chief Judge Ron Clark.
Mr. Siebman is the founder of Siebman, Burg, Phillips & Smith, LLP, which maintains offices in Eastern District cities of Plano, Sherman, Marshall and Tyler. He was named the Dallas/Fort Worth Lawyer of the Year for patent litigation in the 2018 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.

Judge Clark recognized Mr. Siebman and Roger D. Sanders of Sanders, Motley, Young & Gallardo in Sherman for their extensive, behind-the-scenes roles in the Eastern District of Texas. Both have worked tirelessly to identify and recruit qualified judges to fill empty federal benches locally, including serving on the selection committee for Eastern District magistrate judges.
During the ceremony, Chief Judge Clark announced that both attorneys' portraits will now hang in the attorney conference rooms at the Paul Brown Federal Courthouse in Sherman. Also in attendance were U.S. District Judge Amos L. Mazzant III, U.S. Magistrate Judge Christine A. Nowak and other distinguished guests.

He has served as chairman of the Eastern District of Texas Bench Bar Conference since 2009.
