Atwell Care Acquires Gray Wolf Ranch

PORT TOWNSEND, Wash., Jan. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Atwell Care Management, LLC, ("Atwell Care") today announced the acquisition of Gray Wolf Ranch  www.graywolfranch.com, one of the nation's leading treatment facilities for young males suffering from substance use disorder.

Atwell Care is a newly formed health care platform established by industry veterans Greg Rush and Rick Shamberg, both of whom have extensive experience investing in health care and hospitality assets including senior living and hotels.  Gray Wolf Ranch will be the group's first venture in the behavioral health and addiction treatment space.

Gray Wolf Ranch is a 26-bed, residential and experiential treatment facility for young males ages 14-26 years old suffering from drug and alcohol addiction and other co-occurring disorders. Gray Wolf Ranch, founded in 1997 by industry pioneer Peter Boeschenstein, was one of the nation's first wilderness-based treatment facilities and is highly regarded for its unique offerings, pristine campus, and successful outcomes over its two decades in operation.

Atwell Care has made a significant capital commitment toward the acquisition, expansion, and repositioning of Gray Wolf Ranch which is located on 20 acres in historic Port Townsend, WA, in the heart of the Olympic Peninsula.  Gray Wolf's offerings include a CARF accredited, evidence-based inpatient treatment experience, a robust wilderness program, an educational center, and a wide range of other programs designed to develop and enhance residents' life skills.
