"Someone, somewhere is quoting me every day," remarks Poirot. "I have verified this using Twitter searches as well as cross-referencing with Facebook searches. My name may not appear next to every quote, but the fact remains that I have achieved an enviable level of exposure. Now, I'm ready to leverage that exposure into opportunities for interested parties."
Poirot is a case study in the power of social media to provide virtually anyone with a megaphone, provided they have the perseverance and insight to connect with people around the world. His collection of intriguing quotes has gathered steam in recent months, and now he can justifiably claim the mantle of viral quote creator.
The major social media outlets where Poirot's quotes can be regularly found include, but are not limited to, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest and Instagram. As part of maintaining and strengthening his momentum, Poirot keeps close tabs on when and where his name crops up. His current success began with intentionally penning quotes that he felt had the potential to explode on the social media scene. The truly remarkable thing about social media, he explains, is that it's an unfettered portal to billions of people around the globe. Brands that have harnessed that power have witnessed explosive growth with a relatively small investment.
"Social media provides incredible opportunities to communicate, motive and inspire, without regard to geography," says Poirot. "More than a billion people use Facebook alone. Social media breaks down barriers in ways we're only beginning to understand. I'm excited to be an evangelist for this still-emerging phenomenon."
Going "viral" is indeed the Holy Grail for individuals and brands who want to connect with audiences in an organic, meaningful way. Being mentioned every day is a cost-effective means to build awareness and solidify an identity. Poirot has already done so, and his reach only continues to grow. Poirot's "Go Viral!" ebook, published on November 1, details how anyone can adopt his tactics and strategies to get their name out in the world.
Poirot's most recent viral quote – "Some journeys in life can only be traveled alone." – is available for licensing, as are all of his other provocative quotes. A professional logo associated with this quote is likewise open for licensing. These and other materials are published on his Goodreads page at www.goviralbook.com.
