All New and Some Backlist Titles to Be Made Available for Purchase on iPhone, iPod touch, Among Others

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Author Solutions (ASI), the world leader in indie book publishing, announced today a digital distribution deal with BooksOnBoard.com - the largest independent bookstore globally.

Under terms of the agreement, BooksOnBoard.com will format all new ASI titles into the industry standard ePUB, and make them available for purchase through myriad readers including the iPhone, iPod touch, Sony Reader, and more. Select AuthorHouse, iUniverse, Trafford Publishing and Xlibris backlist titles will be eligible for inclusion.

Distribution of content will be included as a free service for all new black-and-white ASI titles, and authors will receive 50 percent of the net sales of digital versions of their titles through BooksOnBoard.com. A default price of $9.99 will be set for every title, but each author will have the opportunity to set his or her own price.
