Automotive News Seeking Nominations for Best Dealerships to Work for in the U.S. and Canada

DETROIT, Jan. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Automotive News will partner with Best Companies Group to identify dealerships in the U.S. and Canada that have excelled in creating quality workplaces for employees. The program, Best Dealerships To Work For, will measure workplace satisfaction through a confidential survey of employers and employees.

To be eligible for consideration, a dealership must: be a new-vehicle store; have more than 25 employees working in the U.S. and/or Canada; and be in business for at least one year.

Participation is free to dealerships that complete the questionnaire and survey electronically. Registration deadline is March 30, 2012.

Winners will be announced and honored at a celebration on Oct. 17, 2012 at a half-day event at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago that includes educational sessions, networking opportunities and a gala awards dinner.  The best dealerships will be featured in an Automotive News special section on Oct. 22, 2012. AutoTrader.com, Manheim and vAuto are the exclusive lead sponsors of the event and special section.
