Avon Announces General Counsel Kim Rucker Leaving To Join Kraft Foods North America

NEW YORK, July 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Avon Products, Inc. (NYSE: AVP) today announced that Kim Rucker , Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer, will be leaving Avon to become Executive Vice President, Corporate and Legal Affairs at Kraft Foods North America.  In addition, she will become General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Kraft Foods Group, Inc. and a member of the Management Team when the company is spun off later this year.

Avon will initiate an external search for a new General Counsel.  Ms. McCoy and Ms. Rucker are working together on an interim transition plan for leadership of the company's global legal organization until a successor is named. 

Ms. Rucker joined Avon in 2008, and will remain with the company until August 17, 2012.
