AVT Granted United States Patent for Wireless Management of Remote Vending Machines

CORONA, Calif., June 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- AVT, Inc. (Ticker: AVTC) (www.autoretail.com) announced today that their patent application (USPTO 8,191,779 B2) has been approved by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The patent was issued on AVT-developed technology regarding a unique wireless system designed to manage a network of remote vending machines. The technology also incorporates graphical user touchscreen interfaces, which can include means for paying for items vended; and a two-way wireless network to connect the enterprise control center with the remote vending machines.
