The former CEO of Publicis New York, McCarthy is rooted in the power of creativity to help build brands and has worked on some of the most enduring brands in the world. His breadth of business experience spans the agency world, client side, start-up and design. Prior to Publicis, McCarthy was Vice President, Worldwide Advertising and Marketing Communications at Johnson & Johnson. Earlier in his career, following a long-term stint at Saatchi & Saatchi New York, McCarthy served as Nike's head of Global Advertising and Media, where his work on the global resurgence behind "Just Do it" helped establish the brand as a global sports and fitness company by pivoting from its position as a U.S. footwear brand.
