AXIOM Sales Force Development Elects Steve Potts as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer
DALLAS, July 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- AXIOM Sales Force Development LLC, leader in global sales coaching, sales methodology, integrated software solutions, and implementation, announces the appointment of industry leader Steve Potts as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.
Steve joins the company at a time of continued growth and will be responsible for driving sales and marketing efforts for the company. In particular, he will be responsible for the development, execution, and effectiveness of sales strategies, which in conjunction with marketing, will create demand for the company's Sales Optimization products and programs to its target markets. He reports to AXIOM's President and Chief Executive Officer, Bob Sanders.

As a Vice President of several companies, Steve understood there were numerous benefits to coaching sales people. However, there was a distinct lack of automation tools to support the sales coaching process. Steve left his corporate sales management role, became an entrepreneur, and formed ForceLogix that ultimately brought the first sales coaching application to the marketplace.
Within five years, ForceLogix had grown from a concept to the leading sales coaching application implemented at several leading world-class organizations. In 2011, ForceLogix was acquired by CallidusCloud, a leading provider of cloud software for sales performance management. Steve stayed on to expand on the dream and continue to help automate coaching and optimize sales development for global fortune 1000 companies. While working with clients, Steve realized that true sales transformation required a convergence of tools, methodology, re-enforcement content and coaching. After being exposed to AXIOM's methodology and future product direction, he realized that AXIOM could be on the next wave in optimizing a sales force.
Steve earned his BSA at University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). As CSMO at AXIOM Sales Force Development, Steve manages the lead to revenue process. When Steve is not running a sales team or building the latest coaching product, you can find him playing drums in a Chicago Rock band or enjoying time with his beautiful wife of almost thirty years and their five children who range from junior high to college graduates.
