Axion Health Welcomes New CEO

DENVER, Aug. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Axion Health named Thomas Carson to serve as their new President and CEO. 

Mr. Carson has over 15 years in the healthcare technology industry, most recently as CEO of MD-IT, a Colorado-based medical documentation company he founded and grew to $30 million in revenues.  Prior to MD-IT, Mr. Carson served as CFO of Access Graphics, a computer products distribution company that grew to $1.6 billion world-wide revenues before GE acquired in 1997.  He also currently serves as a Director of MIQS, an EMR provider focused on the dialysis market.
