(OTCQB:AXIH), a leader in recycled plastic and plastic composite technologies used to produce ECOTRAX® rail ties/sleepers and STRUXURE® building products, today secured an additional order for AXION's 100% Recycled STRUXURE® Heavy Construction Mats through SPARTAN MAT, Inc. We will exclusively showcase AXION's STRUXURE® mats at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014 in Vegas for all to touch and see in person, and we highly recommend a personal booth visit to further discuss STRUXURE ® mats' capabilities. As the owner of SPARTAN MAT, Inc. with over 15 years of matting experience, I will personally be at the show to discuss the many advantages of the STRUXURE® Mat."
"Since the 4th quarter of last year, through our distribution partnership with SPARTAN MAT, Inc., we have successfully increased sales of our STRUXURE® composite mats and are already on our 5th purchase order," says AXION's EVP for Building Products Dave Crane. "Coming off a long and brutal winter, we are starting to see more inquiries and are gaining traction on our composite mats, which are specifically engineered for resistance against rot, fungus, insects and moisture. Our mats have the ability to maintain structural integrity in wet conditions and are estimated to last 5 times longer than hardwood alternatives. We appreciate the support and recognition from SPARTAN MAT, Inc. and have been informed that the Company will be showcasing our composite mats and technology at its booth during the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014. This is a great international platform for AXION as it further exposes us to the industry's specialists, equipment suppliers, contractors, engineers and other service providers that will allow direct one-on-one contact with the construction industry."
A major attraction for companies in nearly every construction industry, CONEXPO-CON/AGG is the international gathering place in 2014 for the construction industries.
