SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- BabyCenter®, the #1 pregnancy and parenting digital resource, today announced its list of the favorite and least favorite celebrity baby names of 2015. Based on more than 1,100 responses, BabyCenter found that moms were charmed by Prince William and Duchess Catherine's choice, Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Also topping the list is Chanel Nicole, daughter of Ice-T and Coco Austin, as well as Brooklyn Elizabeth, daughter of Nick and Vanessa Lachey.
"Celebrities provide more access to their lives than ever before. As a result, moms feel more connected to them and free to pass judgment on their choices," said Linda Murray, BabyCenter Global Editor-in-Chief. "This year's survey shows moms prefer conventional names. A little quirkiness is okay, but when celebs choose truly unique names that break new ground, moms give them the thumbs down."
