Baltimore Magazine Names Dr. Michael Cohen a Baltimore Top Doctor for 2012
Founder and Medical Director of Cosmetic Surgery Center of Maryland Receives Honor for Second Consecutive Year
BALTIMORE, Dec. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Cosmetic Surgery Center of Maryland announces that its founder and medical director, Dr. Michael Cohen , was recently named a Top Doctor by Baltimore Magazine. The magazine has compiled the list for 26 years.
Dr. Cohen was voted Top Doctor in two different categories—Plastic Surgery Breast and Plastic Surgery Body Contouring. Top Doctor selections were gleaned from a survey of almost 10,000 physicians in the Baltimore area; each participant in the survey was asked to identify physicians in dozens of specialties they would recommend to a family member for specialized medical treatment. Dr. Cohen was also named to the list in 2011.
Dr. Cohen has more than 20 years of experience as a plastic surgeon. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Cohen is a breast specialist and is recognized as one of Mentor's 2012 LEAD surgeons, a council of the foremost breast implant surgeons in the country who demonstrate leadership, experience, and development in breast augmentation. This is the sixth consecutive year he has been named as a Mentor LEAD surgeon; Mentor is a leading manufacturer of breast implants.
