Jody McNerney – Vice President, Senior Private Client Advisor
Jody McNerney joined the bank as vice president and senior private client advisor for Denver and the surrounding mountain communities. In her new role, McNerney will work with affluent and high net worth clients to help manage their wealth, and along with her wealth management partners, provide services in banking, trust, investment management, retirement and estate planning.
With more than 30 years of experience as a financial consultant in the banking community, McNerney's skill set includes retail banking, business banking, commercial banking and wealth management. Most recently she was the vice president of Commercial Banking for Colorado Business Bank serving business clients specifically in the healthcare and nonprofit sectors.
McNerney holds a B.S. in Business Finance from Regis University. She currently serves on the board for the National Kidney Foundation and is a longtime member of the Colorado Nonprofit Association. McNerney resides in Highlands Ranch, CO.
Spencer Thomas – Vice President, Senior Private Client Advisor
Spencer Thomas joined the bank as vice president and senior private client advisor for the Northern Colorado and Eastern Plain branches. In his new role, Thomas will assist wealth clients in developing a plan to maintain, protect and growing their wealth now and for their future generations.
Thomas has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently he was a senior private banker at Wells Fargo serving wealth management clients in the Private Bank.
Thomas serves as a board member for Windsor Charter Academy, a nonprofit charter school in Windsor, CO. A former US Army Reservist, Thomas currently resides in Windsor, CO.
Jeremiah Matthews – Vice President, Senior Private Client Advisor
Jeremiah Matthews joined the bank as vice president and senior private client advisor for the East Denver Metro Private Client Services Group. In this new role, Matthews will manage existing and build new client relationships for Bank of the West's Wealth Management Group.
Matthews has more than 8 years of experience in the financial sector; most recently he was a senior wealth financial advisor assistant in Bancwest Investment Services, the bank's affiliated broker/dealer.
Matthews graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Finance and currently resides in Denver, CO.
Robert Neubauer – Vice President, Senior Private Client Advisor
Robert Neubauer joined the bank as vice president and senior private client advisor for the South Metro Denver Area. In his role, Neubauer will manage a client portfolio, providing banking, trust, investment management and estate planning services.
Neubauer is a financial service professional with more than 20 years of experience in retail banking, mortgage banking and wealth management. Most recently he was vice president for Vectra Wealth Management serving the high net worth and affluent market.
Neubauer holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado. He has served as a board member for the SungateKids Foundation, an accredited chapter of the National Children's Alliance. He currently resides in Greenwood Village, CO.
