The latest financing round will support BankerBay's continued global expansion, solidifying its presence in major financial markets through the build out of sales, marketing and business development teams in London and New York. In a bid to meet current demand from the corporate and banking worlds, through a combination of strategic partnerships and organic growth, BankerBay will use the proceeds to fund further global expansion of its leading investment banking platform. This comes on the heels of accelerated growth in the first six months of 2016, during which time the company has seen increases of between 250% and 300% in its key metrics, including a huge increase in deal flow amid the continuing deterioration of conditions in the traditional investment banking industry.
