SYRACUSE, N.Y., Nov. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Bankers Healthcare Group is pleased to announce that Chief Marketing Officer Chris Panebianco will be honored today as one of Central New York's 40 Under Forty. The annual event recognizes professionals under the age of 40 who exemplify leadership in both the workplace and the community.
Panebianco joined BHG in 2009 and served as Vice President of Marketing before being named Chief Marketing Officer in early 2013. As CMO, he leads all global marketing initiatives through a combination of traditional and interactive channels, lead generation as well as brand, customer and vendor relationship management. In his time with BHG, Chris has helped facilitate more than $450 million in funded loan transactions for healthcare professionals.
"Chris embodies the values that are central to this organization's success- hard work, innovation, initiative and a willingness to learn," said Bob Castro, Owner and President of BHG. "It has been a pleasure to watch him grow as a marketer, colleague and leader."
Away from the office, Panebianco volunteers his time with Cuse Pit Crew, a non-profit organization dedicated to the advocacy of pit bulls and other similar breeds. Through education and training around the city of Syracuse, Cuse Pit Crew hopes to strengthen the bond between animals and people in turn reducing the number of dogs that are mistreated each year.
"Each year we recognize 40 tremendous individuals who not only excel in the workplace, but are leaders in the community and volunteer or give-back regularly," said 40 Under Forty organizer Joyl Clance. "It is a privilege to produce this event and each year I enjoy learning from these amazing honorees."
Panebianco graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a B.A. in Communication Studies. He currently resides in Cazenovia, New York with his family.
