BHG sponsored the fifth annual PULSE Red Party held on Saturday, February 28 in Fort Lauderdale. The record-breaking attendance of over 400 PULSE supporters raised more than $180,000 for the AHA to date and set new records for most raised at the actual event and most raised in live auction.

The PULSE Red Party featured live music, a guest speaker from One Beat CPR and an auction including:

- 3-night getaway at Baha Mar in Nassasu, Bahamas ($3,500 value), donated by Baha Mar, The Bahamian Riviera
- 2 University of Florida football tickets with private jet transportation ($3,000 value), donated by City Furniture
PULSE is the young professional arm of the American Heart Association of Broward County. In addition to their fundraising efforts, PULSE members promote heart health through various activities focused on fitness and nutrition. Since its inception in 2011, the group has raised over $600,000 to combat childhood obesity and congenital heart defects through the Open Your Heart campaign.
