The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international award honoring creative excellence on the Internet. The online film, entitled "Imagine the Possibilities," launched a broader brand initiative, encouraging parents to re-appraise the role Barbie plays in a child's life. The advertisement is true to the brand's heritage and celebrates a young girl's journey of self-discovery, imagination and storytelling. Having garnered over 50 million views, the piece has become a part of the cultural zeitgeist. "Imagine the Possibilities" was created by BBDO San Francisco, in conjunction with BBDO New York, and the campaign will continue through 2016.
