Charity Golf Tournament Has Now Raised $245,000 For Neonatal Intensive Care Unit In Orange County
ALISO VIEJO, Calif., Dec. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Barney & Barney, a Marsh & McLennan Insurance Agency LLC company, today announced that its Orange County Golf Classic raised $60,000 for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at CHOC Children's Hospital in Orange County, California.
CHOC operates one of the nation's most highly regarded NICUs and provides tertiary and quaternary care to premature infants and babies born with a variety of serous conditions requiring specialized care.

The proceeds from donations, golf registrations and sponsorships will go directly to support the hospital's NICU babies and their families. The fourth annual tournament took place on Monday, Dec. 7 at the Dove Canyon Country Club.
Major sponsors of the event included Cigna, United Healthcare, Premier Access, OneBeacon, RT Specialty, Blue Shield and Liberty Mutual.
To date, Barney & Barney has raised $245,000 for CHOC. The golf tournament was hosted by the Barney & Barney Foundation, which was established in 2009 to commemorate the firm's centennial anniversary. Since then, the Foundation has awarded more than $1.7 million in grants to nonprofit organizations throughout California.
