Historic town and Lost Pines resort celebrate the winter season with family-friendly fun for locals and travelers

Bastrop River of Lights – November 25 to December 31
Take in the River of Lights, with over 100 festive displays in a variety of seasonal themes starting in Fisherman's Park and lighting the way down the Lower Colorado River to Ferry Park. Enjoy the trail nightly from 6 to 9 p.m. starting Black Friday and through New Year's Eve.
Breakfast with Santa at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa – November 27
Join Santa and Mrs. Claus and their elves for the Annual Breakfast with Santa Event at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort. The celebration starts with sunrise fixings at the breakfast buffet. Then, families will enjoy meet-and-greets and photo opportunities with Santa and his elves. Additional holiday-themed activities include arts and crafts, a jump house and more. Lost Pines Christmas Wine Swirl – December 9
Sip, shop and swirl your way through a winter wonderland in historic downtown Bastrop. The Lost Pines Christmas Wine Swirl is Bastrop's premier wine tasting event, featuring a dozen Texas wineries sampling their vino inside of unique boutiques. Visitors can sample wines from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9. Tickets are $40 per person and will be available in October.
Bastrop Winter Wonderland – December 9–10
Bastrop is proud to present a Winter Wonderland on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 9–10. Designed for children of all ages, the merry lineup features ice skating, hay rides, carriage rides, food vendors, s'mores and fun with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Lighted Christmas Parade – December 10
Bastrop's famous Lighted Christmas Parade features more than 100 fanciful floats and local participants lighting up Main Street in this joyful tradition. This year's parade theme is "There's No Place Like Home for the Holidays." Join family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10.
Christmas Day Feast at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa – December 25
