BBVA Compass Appoints John Jett Wealth Management Regional Executive for Central Texas

Jett assumes new role while maintaining position and responsibilities as Austin City President for Commercial Banking

AUSTIN, Texas, July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- BBVA Compass announced that John Jett has been appointed Wealth Management Regional Executive for Central Texas. Based in Austin, Jett will serve the private banking, investment and trust needs of clientele in Austin, as well as San Antonio. His new role as Regional Executive for BBVA Compass Wealth Management is in addition to his current responsibilities as Austin City President for Commercial Banking where he continues to lead the Commercial team as BBVA Compass grows its share in the market.

As Regional Executive for Central Texas, Jett will manage all aspects of the BBVA Compass Wealth Management Group's products and services, including a full array of private banking services, and lending and depository services. He will also oversee fiduciary relationships as well as investment offerings, financial planning and investment portfolio management.

Jett began his career with First City Bank Austin after graduating from the University of Texas with a finance degree. Prior to joining BBVA Compass, he spent 20 years with Bank of America in Austin, where he served as President and Senior Bank Executive. Jett currently serves as a volunteer for numerous civic and community organizations, including serving as Immediate Past Chair of the Texas State Executive Committee for the March of Dimes. Jett also serves as a board member of the Austin division of the March of Dimes, Seton League House and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area.
