BeanTree Learning Launches Inaugural "Love to Give" Campaign Benefitting Inova Mobile Hope Bus
ASHBURN, Va., Feb. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Northern Virginia's premier private school for early childhood education, BeanTree Learning, launched its "Love to Give" campaign to benefit Loudoun County's youth, namely infants through 18-year-olds, in precarious housing environments.
The private school's two campuses in Ashburn and Chantilly, Virginia, boast an enrollment of 500+ families that live in and around Loudoun and Fairfax Counties. Although one of the nation's wealthiest counties in America, Loudoun County is also home to some 700 known homeless children and another 800 yet to be identified. "We are in an area that has families with the means necessary to take of their own and willingly give to others. Our "Love to Give" campaign provides an opportunity to give back to those who cannot help themselves and give them the basic essential needs that will make a difference," explained Jennifer Bower, owner of BeanTree Learning.
The "Love to Give" campaign provides non-perishable food items, diapers, washcloths, gently used clothing, and other items for children in need throughout Loudoun County. The charitable drive concludes at the end of the month and according to Ms. Bower, the donations are plentiful. "It always astounds me to see how generous our BeanTree families are and how much they want to help make a difference in the lives of others. They always open their hearts to aide others and make a valuable contribution to the lives of people in the communities we serve."
All donations received from BeanTree families on behalf of "Love to Give" will benefit the Inova Mobile Hope Bus, a mobile unit of Inova Mobile Health Services which provides critical care items for families in need throughout Loudon County. Lisa Evans of Inova Mobile Health Services said BeanTree's donations will support a critical need. "We really see a depletion of supplies during the harsh winter months. It's this time of year that the need is the greatest and children need the support 24/7 right here at home. Families and staff members of BeanTree Learning are providing a tremendous service that will be put to immediate use."
The "Love to Give" campaign ends on February 28th. Each year, the school hosts the "Love of Literacy" Children's Book Drive benefitting Loudoun Literacy, Child Find, and Northern Virginia Literacy Council and is an annual partner with the area's Toys for Tots toy drive during the holidays.
