WALTHAM, Mass., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Beaver-Visitec International (Beaver-Visitec), a new company formed from the purchase of the ophthalmic systems businesses from BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) and Medtronic, announced today that it will focus solely on products and services for ophthalmic and microsurgery.  Beaver-Visitec brings together the well-established brands of Beaver® Blades, Visitec® Cannulas and Instruments, Merocel® Fluid Control Products, and Wet-Field® Eraser®  Electrosurgery Instruments.
