FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., March 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Bosch has announced the addition of Linda Beckmeyer to its automotive communications team. Beckmeyer will serve as manager of media and public relations for the United States. She will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for media relations and executive visibility for the company's automotive original equipment business.

Prior to joining Bosch, Beckmeyer was founder and president of Momentum Communication LLC, an independent public relations agency. Before starting her own business, she worked for a number of years in the automotive industry. From 1998-2008 Beckmeyer held various internal and external communication positions of increasing importance at Delphi and before that she was in communication at General Motors. She received a bachelor's in communication from Bowling Green State University and her MBA from the University of Michigan.
Beckmeyer reports to Cheryl Kilborn, director of media and public relations, Robert Bosch LLC, who is now responsible for handling Bosch's corporate communication, mergers and acquisitions, and issues management. Kilborn joined Bosch in 2008.
