Benchmark and Optimize Streaming Video Quality with OPTICOM's PEVQ-S

ERLANGEN, Germany, Feb. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- At Mobile World Congress 2015, OPTICOM, the leading experts for Voice and Video Quality testing algorithms, will feature PEVQ-S, a novel analysis technique for video streaming quality testing, benchmarking and optimization. Announced at last year's show in Barcelona, the new Standards-based perceptual measurement algorithm has independently been verified in 2014 by the Video Quality Experts Group (VQEG.ORG) and approved as new ITU-T Recommendation J.343. It is claimed to be the best-in-class hybrid perceptual/bitstream model for objective HD video quality measurements.

PC-based implementations with powerful graphical measurement charts are also featured and give useful insights on network and player behaviour, in particular for congested network conditions.
