Benefitfocus Files Registration Statement for Initial Public Offering
CHARLESTON, S.C., Aug. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Benefitfocus, a leading provider of cloud-based benefits software solutions, today announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) relating to the proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The number of shares to be sold and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined. Benefitfocus plans to list its common stock on the NASDAQ Stock Market under the ticker symbol "BNFT."
Goldman, Sachs & Co., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Jefferies LLC will act as the book-running managers for the offering. Canaccord Genuity Inc., Piper Jaffray & Co. and Raymond James & Associates, Inc. will act as co-managers.
