In this role, Slawter will be working out of BenefitMall's headquarters and will be responsible for all insurance sales and service including group, self-funded, senior and individual in offices located in 11 states serving 32 markets. Additionally, he will continue to manage the growth of BenefitMall's Account Services Division, which provides resources to agencies, brokers, and consultants who seek additional support beyond traditional general agency services. The Account Services Division offers agencies comprehensive outsourcing of account management functions for their SMB clients.

Slawter began his career at CIGNA Healthcare, where he spent 10 years in various sales and management roles. Throughout the following decade, he held regional and national sales leadership roles at Aetna.
Prior to joining BenefitMall, Slawter was senior vice president and national head of distribution for Aetna. In this specific role, he oversaw teams who developed and managed successful strategies in growing all lines of the Aetna business, along with growing important relationships with Aetna's national and regional producers. Under the guidance of Slawter, his team also developed partnerships for broker-led exchanges in the private exchange marketplace.
