Berkshire Capital Announces Leadership

NEW YORK, Sept. 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Berkshire Capital Securities LLC, a leading, global boutique investment bank specializing in the financial services industry, announced today that it has named Nicholas J. Sheumack President and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Berkshire. Mr. Sheumack will work alongside Berkshire's current President & Chief Executive Officer Bruce Cameron who will assume the role of Executive Chairman and Co- Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Sheumack has 20 years of experience in financial services and has been one of the most active advisors across a diverse range of financial services sectors in recent years. Prior to joining Berkshire in 2015, he was a Managing Director in the global financial institutions practice at Lazard, leading the financial services and financial technology advisory practice for Lazard Middle Market and participating in firm strategy. Previously, Mr. Sheumack was a Managing Director at KBW, Inc. where he built and led the diversified financials practice within investment banking along with the financial sponsor advisory group, was a member of the capital commitment and fairness opinion committees, and participated in the planning of the firm's own successful initial public offering in November 2006.
