PRINCETON, N.J., Feb. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SnapOne, Inc., the leading cloud-service developer for consumers and families, today announced that technology executive Bill Korn has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer.
"We're thrilled to welcome Bill," said Jiren Parikh, President and CEO of SnapOne, Inc. "As we expand our business globally, an experienced financial and operating executive is critical to successful growth. As an advisor, Bill has provided valuable assistance and we're excited about the prospect of collaborating with him more closely in 2013 and beyond."
Korn has spent the last 30 years driving innovation and fast growth in technology businesses. As CFO for five companies, he has raised over $250 million in capital, completed six acquisitions and developed a unique blend of strategic, financial and operational skills.
Korn's leadership as CFO of Antenna Software, Inc., the leading enterprise mobility software vendor, enabled the company to grow at an 87% CAGR during his 10-year tenure. He served as President of Telelogue, a venture-backed spin-out of Bell Labs that created advanced speech recognition technology. As CFO and COO at INFONXX, a business process outsourcer to the wireless industry, Korn led the company through a period of rapid growth, doubling in size to 2,000 people over a 12-month period.
Korn spent 10 years building IBM's global services business, serving as one of the founding members of IBM Consulting Group, becoming the first director of strategy for electronic commerce in 1994 and spending a year on IBM's corporate strategy team during Lou Gerstner's first year as CEO. Korn was instrumental in forming Integrion Financial Network, a cloud-based joint venture of IBM and 19 premier financial institutions, and became its first CFO. Korn is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School.
"I'm very pleased to join SnapOne, Inc.," Korn said. "In 2013, consumers recognize the critical importance that mobile technology plays in their lives and those of their families. I look forward to working with the team to continue building its business."
