Billionaire Philanthropist Stewart Rahr Announces $350,000 In Donations
NEW YORK, May 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Stewart Rahr, the flamboyant philanthropic billionaire announced today the most recent recipients of his donations. Mr. Rahr is listed as #298 on the Forbes 400 according to Forbes Magazine with a net worth of $1.6 Billion.
Rahr sold his pharmaceutical distribution company and put aside $100 million to establish the Rahr Foundation. In the past 30 days Rahr has donated more than $350,000 to charity through an online trivia game via email with his friends.
