BIOLASE, TeamSmile and Los Angeles Chargers to Host Oral Health Fair for Students from Los Angeles Public Schools

LOS ANGELES, March 27, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- BIOLASE, Inc. (NASDAQ: BIOL), the global leader in dental lasers, TeamSmile, the nation's premier advocacy group that supports life-changing dental care for underserved children, and the Los Angeles Chargers will be hosting an oral health fair in which nearly 300 students throughout the Los Angeles Unified School District will be given free access to advanced dental care. The event will take place on Friday, April 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with special appearances by WR Geremy Davis, RB Justin Jackson, and the Charger Girls.

This event is part of a greater series of events that BIOLASE has hosted with TeamSmile in an effort to educate families on a more advanced, less invasive dentistry through the use of Waterlase dental lasers. The oral health fair will give children the opportunity to not only receive free screenings, preventive care, radiographs and laser treatments onsite, but will also demonstrate to the children that dental procedures no longer have to be painful or scary.
