(NASDAQ: BSTC), a biopharmaceutical company developing first-in-class collagenase-based products marketed as XIAFLEX® in the U.S and XIAPEX® in the EU, today announced that BioSpecifics' President, Tom Wegman, will present a corporate overview at the Aegis Capital 2013 Healthcare Conference.
The presentation will take place on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. EDT (1:00 p.m. PDT) at the Encore at Wynn hotel in Las Vegas, NV. This event will not be webcast.

Auxilium expects to initiate a Phase II trial of CCH for cellulite in the third quarter of this year and next stage trials of CCH for frozen shoulder syndrome in the fourth quarter of 2013. BioSpecifics is currently managing the development of CCH for the treatment of human and canine lipomas, both of which are in Phase II trials.
