Birch Expands National Broadband Footprint

ATLANTA, Aug. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Birch Communications, Inc., ("Birch") a leading nationwide provider of communications, network and cloud services to small, mid-sized, enterprise and wholesale businesses announced today it has expanded its BirchNet Broadband internet footprint by over 60%, significantly increasing the company's internet coverage area.

BirchNet Broadband is available in multiple speeds up to 24 megabits per second (Mbps), and Birch is now offering two months of BirchNet Broadband free when ordering new service.  Customers can also bundle their service with a BirchNet voice package to take advantage of more savings including nationwide long distance.

This new footprint covers 14 states across and adjacent to the northern Tier, Rockies and Pacific Northwest.  With this expansion, BirchNet Broadband is now available from Birch in 36 states, reaching approximately 1 million business customers.  Additionally, Birch offers speeds up to 1Gbps in qualified areas using Ethernet over Copper (Ethernet) and Metro-Fiber technologies.
