Bloomberg Government Releases Top 20 Opportunities Report

WASHINGTON, Oct. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Bloomberg Government today announced the release of the 2018 BGOV Top 20 Opportunities study. Contracts with the General Services Administration, the Navy, Air Force and Army occupy the top spots; the Department of Defense dominates the list with the largest number of opportunities. This year the most lucrative deals, eight opportunities totaling $152.3 billion, are requirements for professional services.

The 4^th annual Top 20 Opportunities report ranks the top federal government solicitations likely to be released in fiscal 2018 by total estimated value. The report includes an analysis on upcoming opportunities by funding agency, market, and estimated release date. Twelve of the top opportunities, worth $124.1 billion, are with the DOD, while the remaining eight opportunities, totaling $86.9 billion, are with civilian agencies.
