Blue Gem Enterprise Prepares For Expansion with Strategic Move into New Refrigerated Distribution & Operations Facility

MEDLEY, Fla., May 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Blue Gem Enterprise (OTC Bulletin Board: BGEM) is pleased to announce that it has moved into a new state-of-the-art distribution center located strategically in central Dade County Florida. The new facility will warehouse and distribute both dry and refrigerated products and become the operations center for Blue Gem. "We have plenty of room for expansion with this move," says head of Sales & Expansion Bob Friedopfer. The new operations center is situated on 33 acres with over 200,000 square feet of refrigerated and dry warehouse space. The facility will be able to store a number of cold chain products including milk, juice, eggs and produce. Route trucks and tractor trailers will load refrigerated products in a temperature controlled environment. The facility is a major distribution hub for over 30 Islands in the Caribbean. "This facility opens up Blue Gem's expansion beyond Florida into major retailers in the Caribbean. We are building out a product showroom and operations center at the facility," adds Friedopfer. "Customers from Islands like the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, The Caymans and many more will be able to shop Blue Gem's portfolio of products in the new expansive food & beverage showroom and then have them loaded on shipping containers bound for their stores in the Caribbean."

Blue Gem Enterprise is also pleased to announce the hiring of industry veteran, Ben Shapiro as its new Operations Manager. "I am thrilled to have Ben join our team," says Friedopfer "I have worked with Ben for many years and know how valuable he will be directing our growing operation. Ben has many years experience in the dry and cold chain distribution industry. His first hand knowledge of the grocery business will be an asset to our team," adds Friedopfer. Mr. Shapiro will manage logistics including warehouse, transportation and inventory for Blue Gem's state-wide and new Caribbean operations.
