SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Dec. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- This holiday season Blue Global Media is giving back to the local community, organizing a company-wide food drive and making a donation to the Salvation Army that provided 25 Thanksgiving meals for the homeless. The company also made monthly donations to PlanUSA, TerraPass and the United Way. Through PlanUSA's child sponsorship program, Blue Global supports more than 200 children living in impoverished areas. And through the United Way, Blue Global's monthly donations go to help local families with financial advisement, homelessness and hunger.
As part of its commitment to promoting financial literacy for consumers, this year Blue Global also pledged support to the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy, which brings together organizations that share a commitment to advancing financial literacy for preschool through college-age youth and collaborating to offer effective financial education.
