BlueMetal Architects Announces Jay Mahlendorf as Client Services Director in Chicago

WATERTOWN, Mass., June 4, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- To support rapid and continuing growth in their Chicago office, BlueMetal Architects has appointed Jay Mahlendorf to the role of Client Services Director for that office.

Mr. Mahlendorf comes to BlueMetal with over twenty years' experience advising large enterprises in the application of innovative technology solutions to increase capability, improve efficiency and achieve targeted business results.

Most recently, Mr. Mahlendorf spent six years as Enterprise Sales Director at Microsoft Corporation in New York City where he led a large team of senior technology sales professionals aligned with several of the largest financial services firms on Wall Street and in the Insurance industry. In this capacity he was responsible for helping clients evaluate and transition to cloud-based applications, infrastructure and productivity platforms, and modernized application architectures. In his Directorship at Microsoft, he and his team consistently earned top client satisfaction ratings.

Earlier in his career, as a Microsoft Account Executive in the Chicago market, Mr. Mahlendorf developed trusted client relationships with leading firms in Health & Life Sciences, Manufacturing and Financial Services; and prior to that he gained startup experience as a services sales professional in fast-growing organizations.
