BlueVolt Moves Headquarters as Growth Accelerates
Provider of innovative eLearning solutions expands Portland presence, ramps up recruitment across organization
PORTLAND, Ore., June 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- BlueVolt has relocated its corporate headquarters to a newly appointed office space on the top floor of Portland's Marquam Building, located at 2501 SW 1st Avenue. The move comes during a period of sustained growth for the eLearning solutions provider, now at its largest headcount to date and with several new hires planned to support its continued expansion.
BlueVolt has achieved consistent growth in its customer base and revenues as more and larger companies adopt its comprehensive software-as-a-service (SaaS) eLearning solutions to deliver training and continuing education to employees and channel sales organizations. BlueVolt customers rely on the company's proprietary learning management system, course development resources and organizational learning strategies to increase sales, improve employee productivity and raise brand awareness. Customers include local and national brands in manufacturing, distribution and technology.
"Knowledge powers growth," said Douglas Gastich, president of BlueVolt.. "Any business that goes to market through channel can use education as a strategy—a valuable asset to the business. If you actually teach someone, you really get their attention, and that will convert to business through sales. People sell best what they know and trust."
BlueVolt's new offices are designed and provisioned to the company's specifications. An open floorplan invites collaboration and knowledge sharing while affording bright, panoramic views, with six state-of-the-art conference rooms for meetings and teleconferencing. The location is transit-friendly, with nearby access to bus lines, streetcar and MAX light rail. A large event space allows the company to host customer training and community events as well as providing a unique venue for special sessions of LEAP Ahead, BlueVolt's annual eLearning conference held in downtown Portland. At more than 9,000 sq. ft., the space will allow BlueVolt to more than double its current staff without need for further expansion.
The new offices are home to the entire BlueVolt staff. Prior to relocating, the company had its offices in the Portland State Business Accelerator. Today, BlueVolt has several open positions for which it is actively hiring, including positions in engineering, customer success, sales, marketing, and course development.
"I couldn't be more pleased with our new offices and our employees feel the same," added Gastich. "We're working hard for our customers and building a thriving eLearning business. Our new space—and the talented professionals who make Portland Metro their home—give us everything we need to make the most of the opportunities in front of us. I'm incredibly excited about what's next."
