Boardwalk Rental Communities hosted its first Monopoly Tournament with one Resident winning six (6) months free rent.

Boardwalk Rental Communities ("Boardwalk") hosted its first ever Monopoly Tournament for its Calgary, AB, Residents on September 15, 2012, with 80 participants playing in the first round.   After two previous rounds, the tournament concluded on October 27, 2012, with three finalists competing against Sam Kolias , CEO and Chairman of the Board.  The three finalists include: Christopher Corbeil , Kelly Stuparyk and John Howson who are each Residents in one of Boardwalk's Calgary Communities.

The contestant coming in first place Christopher Corbeil , received six (6) months free rent, an approximate value of $6,600.00.  The Second place contestant, John Howson , received one (1) month free rent, while the third place contestant, Kelly Stuparyk , received an iPad3.

Sam Kolias , who was ineligible to win a prize, said, "Boardwalk is always looking for ways to further create and encourage a sense of community for both Boardwalk Residents and the Communities outside of its property lines.  We are very happy with the success of this event and the opportunity it has provided for bringing Residents together as well as allowing Boardwalk, and our Associates, who volunteered to host the tournament, to strengthen our relationship with our Residents."  He went on to say, "I had a lot of fun participating in the tournament and look forward to hosting similar events for our Residents across Canada in the future."
