Community-Centric Culture Helps Raise $10,000 to Help Fire Victims

AURORA, Colo., Aug. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Bona US, the world leader in hardwood floor care since 1919, is celebrating its recognition as one of the top ten best places to work. On the heels of the award Bona also raised more than $10,000 to aid fire victims across Colorado.

Over the course of a month Bona employees donated to a fund to help victims of the wildfires that have raged across Colorado this summer. Donation drives included a company pot luck lunch and all donated funds were matched by the company. Additionally, Bona contributed 15 percent of all online sales from July 11 through July 31 to the cause. These efforts totaled $10,000, most of which was given to the Red Cross.
