BoneSmart® to host 2nd Joint Replacement Awareness Day® on May 4, 2019
SAN DIEGO, Jan. 18, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Over 1 million total hip and total knee replacement procedures are performed each year in the United States1. When facing joint replacement many people feel lost and in need of answers and information. The BoneSmart mission is simple, abate fear and dispel confusion about joint replacement. This simple mission led the BoneSmart team to the creation of Joint Replacement Awareness Day® (JRAD). The goal of JRAD is to increase awareness and education about one of the most successful surgical procedures that can bring quality of life back for patients suffering from advanced arthritic disease.
