MONTREAL, Aug. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Boralex Inc. ("Boralex" or "Corporation") has filed a preliminary short form prospectus with the Canadian securities regulatory authorities in each of the provinces of Canada in connection with its previously announced bought deal offering of $95 million of 6.75% of extendible convertible unsecured subordinated debentures.

The underwriting syndicate is led by TD Securities Inc., and includes CIBC World Markets Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., RBC Dominion Securities Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., Canaccord Genuity Corp., Desjardins Securities Inc., GMP Securities L.P., Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd., and Cormark Securities Inc.
