LIVONIA, Mich., Jan. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Borland Capital Partners launched its new open-end real estate income fund. The fund, which was formed by The Borland Group, Michigan's largest residential real estate investor, is now selling shares in its first round of funding. The Borland Group will manage the fund. The goal of the fund is to see long term total return by investing in a broad range of real estate assets.
"This is a great moment to be investing in Michigan real estate," said Dylan Borland, CEO of The Borland Group. "Michigan real estate is unique, especially now, with high rents coupled with low acquisition costs."
As its core business grew, The Borland Group received numerous requests from family offices and institutional money managers to get the opportunity to invest alongside an industry leader. Borland Capital Partners plans to raise up to $28 million in its first round, which closes on April 1, 2016. Today, the fund is accepting investments from qualified investors and institutions. The fund's investment strategy is to develop a portfolio of core and non-core real estate investment models spread over 5 markets.
Founded in 2006, The Borland Group is known for actively investing in the Michigan community and working to build a strong reputation of trust, buying and selling hundreds of homes each year. Dylan Borland started investing in real estate when he was just 17 years old. He has personally completed more than 2,000 real estate investment transactions since starting The Borland Group. He actively coaches other real estate investors and speaks frequently on real estate investing. He also participates in many philanthropic activities. "We treat people as people, not investments," Borland commented. "We listen to our clients' needs and will do whatever it takes to make sure our clients are completely happy and satisfied. It must be a win for everyone involved, every time."
