Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan appoints Kevin Klein as Chief Marketing and Sales Officer

BOSTON, Nov. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Following a nationwide search, Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan (BMCHP) announced the appointment of Kevin Klein as BMCHP's Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, a new position in the organization. In this role, Mr. Klein will oversee business development, marketing and sales, including development of corporate strategy, product development, branding initiatives, community outreach, internal and external communications, and public relations.

"Kevin's selection was based on his extensive background and broad experience with new business, new markets, sales and marketing," said Scott O'Gorman, President of BMCHP. "This new position also reflects BMCHP's commitment to expand our quality-focused health coverage and innovative delivery systems to underserved populations."

For the past nine years, Mr. Klein has been with DentaQuest Ventures, Inc., where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Dental Management, developing and leading a new operating unit out of DentaQuest's Wisconsin office. Mr. Klein's experience also includes a variety of senior level marketing positions in the Web/wireless messaging, financial and utility industries. Mr. Klein received his Master of Business Administration degree from Boston College School of Graduate Management, including studies at the Irish Institute for Economic Studies in Leuven, Belgium. He also received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Boston College.
